Does noindex, nofollow has effect on sub domains?

Post by WaldoMonster »

Since 8 weeks my website (http://www.netjukebox.demon.nl) isn’t indexed anymore by Google.
It only displays the links without description.

I have a domain: netjukebox.demon.nl
I don’t want to index this website.
All pages have this meta tag except for the index page:
<meta name="robots" content="noindex, nofollow">
This site is on my computer at home and not always online.

And this sub domain: http://www.netjukebox.demon.nl
I want to index this website.
This website is hosted by my internet provider and is always online.

Any idea what is wrong with this?

I imagine google thinks that both are one and the same, as they often are..

I think you are right about that.
This will explain why both sites have the same page rank by Google.

Never the less I will try to change <meta name="robots" content="noindex, nofollow">
in <meta name="robots" content="noindex, follow">
Submit both pages again and see what happens.
