Apache language setting?

Post by visionmaster »

Hello,

Testing a webpage with czech text on a ISP server works fine. The czech letters are shown correctly in my browser. Testing the same page locally (localhost) is making me problems. The text is not displayed correctly, the specific czech letters are not displayed correctly or substituted with another letter. I use charset=8859-2 in my html code.

Could it be that I have to configure some Apache file, so that html pages with "cryptic" letters can be displayed? Some kind of language or charset setting?

Thanks!
