do u need to install apache to run mysql? i have Win server 2003. and if not it is not working with php. php is working, by itself though.any ideas.(the link on the first page is a bust)

MySQL and php can run independently of Apache.

With Apache running, you can run php in the browser.

Hi Guys

Apologies I am new to this forum I couldnt find a thread that has information regarding the installation of MySQL and PHP MyAdmin for macs I am getting some errors regarding language files and would really appreciate any help I have tried to google it but couldnt find anything useful - let me know if I can ask my questions in this thread or if I should be somewhere else entirely (ie the Database forum- couldnt find anything on phpMyAdmin in here though).

Can any body suggest a successful method of configure IIS for PHP.
I have followed all the methods provided in net but my program is not running.

Does anyone know where i can get a php.config file to connect to my database? I am hostgater and the server type will be localhost. I have built my Mysql database and table
