Please read this article before asking questions regarding the setup of PHP (4/5) & MySQL with Microsoft IIS. The article outlines the topic very well although, time permitting we may provide our own insight into this topic.

Is it IIS 6.0+ ? It's under the Web sites branch of the snap-in.

Hi thank you very much for the instructions of how Installing and configuring PHP / MySQL with IIS.
However I followed them and php does work, but as soon as I want to include shtml pages in my homepage I get the error message "Error processing SSI file"
So I spend the last three weeks looking for a solution and now I'm at a point where I'm ready to give up!
But this can't be possible, I kind of don't want to give up.
My Server is a Windows 2003 Server with IIS 6.0.
Maybe there is a kind person out there which feels mercy for me and can help me with this issue.......
I'm glad for any kind of help
thanks in advance

you could probably set up a new extension for .shtml pages and point to whatever cgi or isapi application you want to parse them...

You do not need to setup a new extension because its already there.
If you are running Windows 2003 Server with IIS 6.0 then you must "Allow" Server Side Includes in the Web Service Extentions node of the IIS snap-in just like I am sure you had to do with PHP although the PHP extension had to be added manually.
