Apache won't start up, no error logs either

I'm not really asking you guys to help fix the problem, I'm asking for help on more diagnostics.
My Apache installation won't boot up. After I post this message, I'm going to restart my machine in hopes of fixing it, but anyway...
The inexplicable part about it is:
1. There is absolutely nothing in error.log for today (so I can't find out what went wrong)
2. I'm fairly certain that I did not kill my httpd.conf file (never edited it yesterday)
3. It was working fine yesterday
So, short of a full reinstall, what would you suggest I do to find out more about the problem? Or fix it?
After the Reboot - Ah, it's working again. That was really unexplainable. Meh.
