I cannot install / run Apache since my port 80 is being used by some other program. I tried installing xitami webserver and it gives the following message:
"Could not open port 80. Port is already used by another server (WSAEADDRINUSE)"
OS: WinXP SP2
IIS: Installed & Running (Tried disabling it, but makes no difference)

Hi,
I think it is IIS creating this issue.
Try to Uninstall IIS or configure IIS to use a different port (other than the default port 80),
Then reboot and install Apache.

Normally a port must be a number not letter. Changing a port number to a random string is probably NOT a good idea.
I've never used that software before so I may be wrong but normally a port is a number.
