Can you get IIS standalone for Windows XP Home? If so where can I download it?

From a quick search over at Microsoft, I don't think you can, since it comes with Pro and Server editions... and higher level developer packages. Is there a particular reason you want IIS? What about Apache, or one of the other web servers available on Windows platforms?

I really like apache2 much more than iis ;)

Anyway, i believe that if you perform a little websearch you will discover it's possible to run IIS on XP Home Edition.. (Not sure how legal it is though..) But as already said, why would you want IIS if you can have Apache?

I have apache currently. The thing is I have a copy of Plesk and it requires IIS.

I would buy more software to make this work but I can't really afford it right now. Is there any way I can get IIS on windows home? I searched around but I couldn't find anywhere to download it.
