Post by elecktricity »

Hey, I think this may be in the wrong section but yea, so now im trying to install php which im also a bit confused about, I got the installer for 5 running and it's asking me which 'http server' do I wish to configure to run php on, I chose 'Microsoft IIS 4 or higher' but then it says something like 'getobject failed' or something and it wont run my stuff.

You may want to download the zip if you want to use any non-built-in extensions with 5, such as MySQL... The installer comes with nearly nothing but the bare minimum required to run, while the zip has most supported extensions in the package.
