subdomains

Post by shiznatix »

ok my friend has some hosting and he is letting me use all his mysql space and as much server space as i want for free (what a pal eh?). but what i want is to setup a subdomain (http://shiznatix.hisdomain.com). i went into cpanel and did that and setup the redirection to my folder but it redirects me there, url and all (derrr, its a redirect). what i want is for it to just be like its own domain on the screen. like i goto

http://shiznatix.shaneckel.com/index.php

and it shows as the url the same instead of redirecting to

http://www.shaneckel.com/shiznatix/index.php

get what im saying? how do use cpanel to do this? sorry if this is a rediculously stupid question, if you didn't read my other posts im having a rediculously stupid day
