Anyone have this combination working? Whenever I try to load the php5apache2_2.dll from the latest stable snapshot as of today (june 30), the server fails to start, or log any helpful error messages, even... the process just dies quietly.

How did you install Apache? I installed apache first, then PHP via the installer. When it was installing it asked me if I wanted to configure Apache for PHP, I said yes, and it did it. Never had a problem with it.

What installer? I downloaded the latest stable zip of PHP from the snaps site. I just unzipped it to c:\php and manually edited the httpd.conf to load the php5apache2_2.dll.
