Run a site on a CD

Post by mortenpa »

I have tried to find information/programs so I can copy, and run, a php driven web-sites on to a CD.
But I have only found some very expensive software.....

The reason I'm looking for this solution is that I (sometimes) want to take my projects to my clients so I can show it to them without using the nett. Or, so I can send them the CD so the can explore the web-site from the CD.

I'm only using PHP, no database (for now :o)

Hope some one know simple (and non-expensive) solution.....

Thanks, but I'm not trying to run linux from a (live)CD.

I want to send my web project on a CD (php web site) to a potential customer (or, maybe later, to a potential employer), to show some of the work I have made. So he/she can browse the CD like it was on a (Internet) server.

Thanks Pimptastic, but $299,- for using this software on a couple of CD's is a bit too much (...a lot too much.... for me)

Then I rather use Dynamic-CD (http://www.phdcc.com/dynamic-cd/) and pay only $60,-

But I'm only going to use this on one or two CD's, so I want to pay as little as possible :?
