Setting up an https:// site on Apache/Fedora Core 4

Post by Kadanis »

I'm having a little trouble getting SSL to work on Fedora Core 4 / Apache.

I have openSSL and mod_ssl installed ok. I have a personal certificate (for testing, i'll buy one when i get this working), but when I turn SSL on in the Apache options for my virtual server and then apply the changes HTTPD fails to start...

Can anyone provide some basic advice to setting this up.

Thanks

Please post what you get in Apache error_log after trying to start it with your changes.
