I'm running IIS6 but the snap in, in the manager does not work to change the MIME types to look for PHP, so I can't get PHP server to execute PHP my admin. Any ideas on this??? [s]pls[/s] please help?

I can kind of get to it if I right click in the IIS manager and select properties, but the MIME type check box is greyed out.

Microsoft CRAP. 6 hours trying to work this out.

thanks

I'm getting a 404.3 error as i'm trying to add a .php extension under MIME types. but the syntax used is different in iis7 than creating the path in iis6.

Does anyone know the correct way to add a php extension and the syntax used for IIS7

thanks

You oughta just install Linux. That will probably take you a good bit to figure out but will save you tons of time in the long run. Besides, install ubuntu or Fedora and you'll be running PHP/MySQL/Apache out of the box.

Your inability to follow basic rules and to accept revision doesn't make other people nazis.
