this is sudhanshu gautam i am a newuser of the php. so first i dont know where i should put the code those i write inthe windows editor.at this time i can write the basic code of the php and after writing the code i gives the extension of the file as a .php. but after nothing happens yha i know that first i should start the iis server in the windows. but it ask allwasys about the windows cd (xp2). so please tell me complete process but in the formal way not like a books so i will unabel to understand. because i know how we can write the code in the php but where it should be run i dont know .

I am sorry, but I just can't understand your English. This is not your fault, I am only saying that many of us are native English speakers and when a complex question is written by a non-native English speaker, it is often difficult for us to understand.
I think I was able to figure out that you are trying to run PHP with a Microsoft IIS server. In its default installation, IIS web server does not support PHP. I believe that extensions are available, but most Windows users use Apache web server to run PHP. Refer to: http://www.wampserver.com/en/
