Index.php disaster!

Post by markc1 »

**This problem has now been sorted. Just needed to copy over the original index.php file from the joomla installation into the root.**

Hi,

http://www.freeridejunkie.co.uk/joomla/

I have just completed my Joomla 1.5 site complete with Virtuemart shopping cart and all was working fine until I change added some code to the index.php file. I went back and took the code I added out in notepad and now my site will not work and I am getting the following message.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/solepowe/public_html/freeridejunkie.co.uk/joomla/index.php on line 19

It looks to me that notepad as messed up the formatting of the code when I saved it as it all appears on one line now (line 19). Is this likely to be the case? If so does anyone out there know how my index.php should be formatted? I've spent about 3 weeks putting this site together and now I've lost it!! I have attached the index.php so that you can have a look.

I am really hoping that someone can help me with this as I am pulling my hair out! Thanks in advance. Mark

How do you expect us to help, without providing your source code?
