Damask Wallpaper

Post by curseofthe8ball »

We have a client who has some interesting wallpaper in their office. They have tasked us with using their wallpaper to create a background wallpaper for their site. Attached are two photos. We can certainty attempt a better photo to make it easier to duplicate. We are looking for someone to give us an estimate to create this damask themed wallpaper.

Probably your easiest thing to do would be to take a picture straight on with uniform lighting. Bring it into Photoshop & convert it to indexed colour mode with 2 colors - black and white. Bring that result into Illustrator & do a Live Trace. That will give you a clean vector result you can then use.

Note though, that the pattern of the wallpaper is almost certainly copyrighted by the original wallpaper company.
