Does it make a difference if a file is named .jpg or .jpeg ?

I mean for the different web browsers ?! Do they handle these two extensions in exactly the same manner ?! Thanks!

As memory recalls, JPG is the default extension in a Windows, and in MAC it is JPEG. As far as browsers go, they handle them identically.

There is no much difference between of them, both this two file extension can be viewed by browser.
