okay guys/gals.
I'm looking into getting a good image program. I narrowed the choices to Paint shop pro/photoshop. I'm not good with graphics so a program that could maybe "do a lil more of the work/effect" is ideal. But I do want to create alot of the "metalliac/chrome" effect u see on alot of images..
any suggestions

Macromedia's Fireworks is a very fine program. You can download a free 30-day trial.

i'll have a gander at that, ty patrik.
Maybe this will help, i'm looking to mimic/create images such as

the top menu with that sort of "metal" effect. The globe effect with the cross inside is sweet too.

photoshop, it can do SOME of the work for you if youknow what you are doing.
