Need some good [free] icons...

Post by Burrito »

<yodaoff>
I am developing a file library site and I need some good icons to indicate the file type that the search results find.

I have googled the hell out of "icons, filetype icons" etc and found some that are decent, but all of the good ones want some $$$.

Yes I know, people need to be rewarded for the hard work they put into devloping anything, but I'm on a tight budget here :P

I need icons for:

.pdf
.doc
.mpg
.htm
and some kind of tutorial icon.

if any of you have some good icon resources, I'd love to hear about them.

thx,

Burr

If 16 X 16 is big enough, check out famfamfam.com I use the 'Silk' collection quite a bit. I know it has icons for PDF, XLS and DOC, and I'd imagine for the rest of what you need as well.

They're free as well.
Real programmers don't comment their code. If it was hard to write, it should be hard to understand.
