If the over-state is the white variant, it not sticking to that state even no matter what I do.

edit: I had it flipped around.

I don't know much about flash, but that is really strange. You don't even have to move over it very fast. Hmm... sorry I can't help. I've never really liked flash. It is nice for "eye candy" as you put it, but when I come across websites created in flash, I usually think... wow this is so 1999, then I leave.

Sometimes flash sites are OK if flash is used correctly, but it generally isn't. One big mistake I see a lot is people adding sound to their mouse-overs. That is so annoying. If the user isn't expecting sound (such as with playing a video or sound clip) they don't want to hear sound. And nothing makes me leave a site faster than when it starts talking to me.

ok guys try it now....you were right feyd it was the mouse over...but im not quite sure why...i was using lables to correspond to the frame at the beginning of the tween so theoretically it should have ran smoothly but...i gess it wanted to be a pain in the butt...also please dont hesitate to give me some critiqe as far as do's and dont's, direction and as many please donts as you wish if you see me going down a bad path...much thanks to ninja ill keep you in consideration with the mouse over noises...i dont think im good enough to make it talk yet but...in time i guess...lol...(a talking marquee would be cool   )
