help with website layout

Post by rxpghost »

Hi everyone,

This is hard to explain but I'm sure easy to answer so excuse my beginners design lingo. I have a website and I want to use a background image behind the content part of the page that is centered. I want to have only the content part of the page scroll so the background remains the same and does not move. I hope I have explained it adequately enough for a push in the right direction.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Look into the background-attachment property.

An indispensable site: HTML Dog: CSS properties
Real programmers don't comment their code. If it was hard to write, it should be hard to understand.
