Re: Locking my craigslist post

It doesn't matter if you do all the error checking in the world, or if you have the most beautiful graphics, if your site or application design isn't usable, it's not going to do well. Get input and advice on usability and user interface issues here.

You are out of line. Anybody can go and look at craigslist without agreeing the the terms of use. If they required you to accept the terms prior to gaining access to the site, it would be a different matter. A bot can do nothing more than any person can. Further, if you bother to read the robots.txt file, you'll find it DOES NOT exclude agents from using the site.

So I'm posting the URL again.

You sir, are the one of out line. If you have a problem with my decision feel free to take it up with the site admins or another moderator. As far as your concerned, the decisions made by the forum staff are final until otherwise overruled by our staff (and not you). It is not your privilege to take the rules/rulings into your own hands.

Any further posting of your link, until I have been told otherwise, will be deleted. Continuing to disobey the rules will result in your account being terminated.
