It doesn't matter if you do all the error checking in the world, or if you have the most beautiful graphics, if your site or application design isn't usable, it's not going to do well. Get input and advice on usability and user interface issues here.
Hey peeps, just finished off my first major web project since graduating and thought it best to get some people who actually know stuff about web development to have a look at it
* No images.
* Website title isn't prominent or easy to find.
* Lots of wasted space that has no visual impact on the design.
* Not enough contrast in the colors of the links in the header and they're jammed together.
* You have a header that says chapter of the week but no content
* Your sub-headers are more prominent than your website title
* When you click to read a manga it's easy to click the wrong forward/next button because they're so close together
* In your directory there's a ton of empty space at the bottom of the page
Hey this site is about Manga. So I expected something that would jump at you. I'd say you can improve the color scheme a bit. I'd love to have a search option. URLs can really use a rewrite and more visual cues for viewers to move to the inner pages.
