Dear All
I've spent a couple of months (I had some skills to learn as well...) developing my site http://www.spanish-property-partnership.biz, selling property in Spain. I'd really appreciate your (more informed) opinions - ease of use, navigation, ease of loading, intuitiveness etc. As usual, there is a fair amount of admin in the background that takes up a lot of code, but really it's the front end that matters the most.
Would be grateful for any comments.
Yours truely
Mark

First up, there is way too much blue. The color #0000ff is very intense, and should be used sparingly if at all. Your site would be significantly improved if you changed it to white, or a light grey.
When designing forms, such as your "I'm looking for" form, it is usually best to use a table to neaten up it's layout and line up the elements.
Use a different font then Tahoma size 2, as it's letters are too closely spaced. If you are aiming for professionalism as well as ease of use, I recommend Verdana at 13px. It looks nearly identical, except for improved spacing and more natural curves.
The navigational bar is in the right place: under the header; but tabs are not such a good idea, especially if they are red. A suggested colour scheme for your site: dark red, light grey and white. Appealing to the eye and easy to look at.
Learning CSS is a must for you.
If you apply yourself, you may find people visiting your site who have no inserest in spanish property.

The gray bar: it feels out of place in this design.
Agreed, CSS is a must.
The blue could be toned down, but it's not too bad.
Consistent case in your html code itself (preferrably lowercase). It's a pet peeve, but can show professionalism.
most of the links/images on the page are full URLs. These make the page less portable in your debugging.
consistency in how links act (hovers and such) helps too.
