Pros:
Layout is a good concept just need better images

Cons:
Images are pixelated
Colors aren’t too great
Don’t uses images as solid background colors ie http://www.wootenmedia.com/wootenmusic7 ... rey_bg.gif because it takes longer to load

Overall I give it a 6.5 out of 10

I'd move away from the grays to warmer colors.. you can still keep their value, just needs some tinting. Your "Add Item to Cart" graphic seems out of place too. Consider left aligning "Home" and "Wooten Music" or getting them to line up more as they are..

having a 1px background image tends to make a page take a while to render in a browser... (depending on it's size of course)

what kind of warmer colors should i use?
should i use reds, oranges, yellows,?
in your opinion, what overall colors should i use for each of the sections?
also, should i put the 'add item to cart' image under the product image so that it will be left aligned with Wooten Music?
thanks

a mixture of those colors could be nice. Try some stuff.. find sites you like and pull ideas from them.

Since mike didn't continue this thread, I'll force it.

site:
http://www.wootenmedia.com/designs/design1.html
to which I replied with something like:
The header is a bit large. And Again, warm colors.

On further review:
The only thing I see that's actually different is you removed the color from your tabs. That's the exact opposite of what I suggested!
