need feedback about my website...?

blacks and whites should be used sparingly (on the whole), then design could still use some more color in the major content box. There's a lot of unused space in the header/navigation stuff.

in your opinion, should i reduce the size of the header and navigation area so that there's not so much white space up top?

i've added some color to the text, does that look ok? what other suggestions do you have as far as adding color, where would you add the color? would you have another color for the background of the text?

On that screenshot it looks like the product titles have a yellow background. That looks pretty weird to me.

Small suggestion, hopefully easy to implement:

On your product listings, it might be nice to make the product name a much larger font, maybe even match the category color. Just a suggestion, but it might help to put a nice accent on the listings, and help bring forward the brand names.
