I would appreciate comments on this:

http://ele.inetgateways.com/editor/?use ... &pass=test

It is not finished and there are broken pages, but I would like to know what you think of the layout and the UI. Please feel free to try anything on it.

Let me know if it looks wrong in any browser, especially IE and Firefox.

Please ignore security issues, I'll take care of them before I start using the website.

I have horizontal scrollbar on my 1024x768 display under IE 5.5. Looks ok under Mozilla 1.6.

When you go to adjust a skin, the "CSS Skin Adjustments: " textarea is too wide.
I'd move your whole menu up about 8 pixels so that when "Account" is clicked, the blue bar is flush with the main blue section.

Other than what I've mentioned, the site looks quite nice - very straightforward.
Real programmers don't comment their code. If it was hard to write, it should be hard to understand.

Tim: What do you think is what makes it look unprofessional?

Bhuddha: In what page is that scrollbar showing? or is it all of them? 8O

Pickle: Do you think browser settings ( font-size ) is what's causing it? If so, anybody know what I can do about it?

Profession sites tend not to have xhtml and get firefox images on them. It also looks only half complete, you want to add some borders to things to give it more depth as at the moment its just blocks of colours.

Maybe also use some css to change the buttons from the default grey retangles.

I was just saying that the word was cut off in your menu by going to the different color background. read my post for under what menu

May just be me, but I would change it cause it would bother me. All the menu characters should be easy to read and not "cut-off" in anyway shape or form.

OK, I just hadn't checked it on IE for a while so, I didn't see that it was doing that. I'll fix it, thanks.

I guess i'll follow kettle_drum's advice and I'll remove the xhtml image. I'll find a better place for the firefox image. Or better yet, I'll just make a recommendation for it on the help pages (once they're done) and i'll get rid of the image.
