Well it's not obvious as i don't see where on the front page you say it's free. I've never seen a site where i've thought something was dumb because it's obvious, you're just enforcing a point. Look at PHP's homepage, it says, "What is PHP? ..... " i don't think that's dumb even though i know what it isbut wouldn't stating something thats very obvious come across as dumb?
IMHO the FAQ should be available right off the front page to all visitors. If they've signed up then they're already interest and the FAQ becomes less important. I'd use the FAQ to get them to sign up and even turn the homepage into an FAQ type page.if you log in, the FAQ is accessible at the bottom. That has alot of information in it.

here's something I've done in the past when fleshing out a ~new product: bring in potential users (your friends) and walk them through the site. Use a voice recorder (potentially a video camera) to record the dialogue you have with them. Do this enough times, and you'll work yourself down to a concise pitch that you say and do. After each walkthrough, watch/listen to the recording several times, taking notes of things that are said, both in questions and answers, and in motions, emotions, and attitudes toward things...
Now, remember to get a broad group of people. If you need a better sampling, pull in a complete stranger. Ask them for a little bit of their time, and give them $10 or $50 for it. You'd be surprised how far that can go.

Note: PDAs can do that. If your contacts attach a vcard to their emails, or if you have full Exchange integration, Outlook can automatically upate your contact list when they change their information.. and those changes can be sync'd to your PDA whenever you dock to your PC.
(I think. Its been aggges since I looked at this stuff)

How can you do that?
What do you mean by full Exchange Integration? Does that mean that you and the Contact who changed his/her info has to be in the same company?
What if you leave the company or he/she leaves the company?
Hmm... those are points i have to put down too.

I looked at your website. It looks good, but I can't understand quickly what it's about. Maybe you should add some kind of example (Kind of small flash animation where you see people, contacts and the interaction happening?) But overall it's good.
Take a look at these guys, http://www.plaxo.com I think they're doing something similar??
