Brilliantly simple and smooth. the setting and flow of the site is just plain good thinking which empasizes its content.
one lil sugg -> just put a little light-gray/any light color background on the section headings. will make it look nicer.
whaddya say.

Site looks amazing, it's easy to navigate and find what you're looking for, and it doesn't strain the eyes at all.
The photos are pretty nice aswell (I viewed them all), and the php tutorials are great, even for an experienced user. The tutorials are extremely easy to understand and a perfect addition to the site.

Pages look very nice, but as my middlename is "nag" there is something to say...

You have claimed "BobbyAAA approved" but
Bobby wrote: Priority 3 Accessibility

This page does not meet the requirements for Bobby AAA Approved status. Below is a list of 1 Priority 3 accessibility error(s) found:
Separate adjacent links with more than whitespace. (6 instances)
Lines 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33
I suppose this is due to some modifications after testing?

And to continue nagging in CSS yoy dont't have generic family in font-family. It is not an error, but it is engouraged as they say at jigsaw.

From a web design aspect: awesome, though you might want to find a creative way to display your Accessibility table.

Looks spiffy, seems to overflow to the right side on FireFox (you might want to look into a CSS issue) Main menu is in a non standard place. Nice URL (pronouncable and short! Boy, you're pretty lucky) Good logo, although blur on aliens seems a bit of a contrast from the cell shading style of the words. Problem with the width is irking me a bit.

Nice site. I'm bookmarking it, as some of the content looks interesting.

EDIT|Another note, make the logo clickable.

yeah the site is almost perfect, but I personally don't like the blue link text and the purple visited text. But thats just me.

It's actually really good to leave the original link color as it is what the users are used to and they can more clearly distinguish links

I like the suggestion for a little bit more colour in section headings or backgrounds. The design is clean. It almost looks like you're going for a monochromatic design, which would be very cool, but the links and accessibility logos ruin that....

I greatly prefer fluid/elastic designs; however yours doesnn't bug me the way most fixed-width ones do... Good job! The layout does completely break at two font-size increases, however.

Hmm after spending some more time on the site, I think the lack of other colour is good on the photo pages. It helps to really make the photo pop. At most I would suggest adding maybe a light colour background to the textual description of the photo, (not the camera information), even better if the colour is chosen to compliement photo.

On the writing pages (CS Guide) The first column looks slightly wider to me (in Safari) and its slightly distracting. I think you might need a little wider gutter. The bulleted list's ident looks a little too deep for the rest of the layout, maybe remove about 5px's? I would also suggest a little bit more top margin/padding on the between the beadcrumbs and the article. It looks right on the left-hand column (because the heading as it), but looks wrong on the right hand one as it jammed up close to the by-line. You might also be able to address it by moving the by-line under the title, then the white space at the end of the bread-crumbs would look balanced above the right hand column

On PHP script pages I'd like to see what a page using highlight_strng looks like. I think the extra colour there would help some, but the more I browse your site the less the general monochromness bothers me....

You might want to slightly change the Mission Statement :)

Hey, what happened, why did I stick that 'u' in color... I'm not across the pond.... wierd... I've never done that before and here I did it consistently.

Very nice site Chris. Nice Photography too. Do you license your images? I'm involved in a project(s) that need great nature shots.

Creative Commons, it seems, although I'm not sure which one.

Just wanted to add:

You site displays well in Firefox and Safari on MacOS 10.2

For the record, I like black and white sites -- (see sig.).

Safari on OS X 10.4 also...

I also like b&w sites, but I don't like the standard link colors, in that case as it ruins the effect. I've seen a few decent sites that use dashed/dotted outlines for link/visited, or background grays, but it is harder and less accessible.

There's nothing implicitly wrong with colors: you can still achieve a minimalist look as long as your colors aren't too bold. I think making B&W sites are hard, most them are BB&W (Black, blue and white).
