What is the difference between the two? When I looked at the pages they looked identical with the exception of the dark border looking a little thinker in IE.

eh.sorry..i originally had a navy blue background in the nav menu and it went all the way down. when i switched to I.E. the navy blue went all the way down the nav menu and along the bottom of the entire content area. Hence my utter confusion.. then after a few hours firefox started displaying it as I.E. did so I just ditched the navy blue background
