where can i get some good CSS styles?

hi,i wanted to know where i could get a css style like subsilver.
i was thinking of just using the CSS file which came with the theme. But tthen i thought it might not be right,copying etc.

the subSilver theme is held under copyright, it was created specifically for phpBB for their own use. So no, you can't use it.

http://particletree.com/features/quick- ... templates/ might be a place to start, but you really need some artistic flair and a bunch of free time on your hands to figure out some nice combinations of fonts/colors/backgrounds/bg-images etc.

i found out about adobe go live,so i will try to use that and design a good CSS.

If you're serious about CSS and web design at least to begin with dont use a WYSIWYG editor, you will learn very little.

I can confirm what darryladie says. don't use a wysiwyg editor. Check out something like html-kit (free and works perfect for me).

Best CCS editor I've used was Topstyle Pro 3

I use Programmer's Notepad 2, it's free and you can do CSS, XHTML, XML, JS, PHP, ASP amongst a million other things and it has tabbed document browsing.
