[Phaos] I need some help.

Post by R4000 »

Well basicly, I need some ideas for Version1 of Phaos.
Also I need some hosting if any of you have a spare few hundred MB lying around.

To start with, PhaosV1 is a fork of The Word Of Phaos (http://worldofphaos.com)
you can go check it out there.
My version is completly rearanged to be more user accessable, and is alot more advanced at doing things.

What i really need is some people to have a play, and see what i need to add/remove/change.
But i can't do this with no bandwidth (as it is right now :P)

Also, i'd like to hear from some of you developers if you want to stick your nose in and have a play.

I can help with hosting. Drop me a pm, and we'll chat.

It would help to mention that Phaos is a *game*. You haven't mentioned that previously in numerous posts about Phaos, and I didn't know until you provided this link, and I took the time to drill in.

That makes me wanna know what it looks like under the hood. Is your version available in CVS or SVN somewhere, so I can explore the code? Do you have a sourceforge or freshmeat project for it?

Well, you need players, and you need feedback. The two are definitely related, but what you need to add/remove/change may not entirely depend on having players giving that feedback immediately.

I'll give it a run through this weekend. Sounds fun.

Sorry for not mentioning its a game!

I'll PM you a link to a download of it, but i havent created a decent MySQL dump yet. So it won't be installable.

I'll also PM you about hosting!
