redoing my company's site in flash...suggestions?

It doesn't matter if you do all the error checking in the world, or if you have the most beautiful graphics, if your site or application design isn't usable, it's not going to do well. Get input and advice on usability and user interface issues here.

redoing my company's site in flash...suggestions?

ive been thinking of it for sometime now...and ive already gone through the trouble of creating a story board for it...but on our home site there is so much information on this one section that im confused as how to go about doing this and whether or not its gonna work properly here is the section that confuses me

I apologize, but I'm in a rush, and didn't even read your post, just the title..

My suggestion? DON'T USE FLASH! Unless you don't care about being found from a search engine, or you don't mind maintaining two separate sites (flash, and non-flash), you'd be wise to avoid a flash site as much as possible.

yea flash sites are lame... soo 1998!

Also, I almost threw up when I saw that marquee on the site you posted. 8O

unfortunately with site creation there are things you do that your rather fond of...and other things you dont really care for and only do because your having to receive a paycheck :wink: ...but it looks all the more sweeter once the redesign comes

still....any ideas as far as the information on that page?

Use more offsetting colors, a liquid layout, no marquees and no flash. That should point you in the right direction.
