It doesn't matter if you do all the error checking in the world, or if you have the most beautiful graphics, if your site or application design isn't usable, it's not going to do well. Get input and advice on usability and user interface issues here.

It looks very unprofessional to use different systems next to eachother, don't you want users to only register once and browse the forum and look into the community instead of registering on 5 different types of web applications?

Yeah, I didn't even really look because of the whole opening in a new window thing, but it just looks like a random collection of applications.
The URL sounds like it should be a blog.
