Hey guys,
We've just relaunched our company/portfolio website. I'd appreciate any comments / criticism you have.

First thoughts: very nice.

Couple of things I don't like:
- Hardly any content on index page but I still have a scroll bar for the height just to see a little footer.
- Navigation tabs aren't in the same place across all pages (probably because of the Twitter button thing by the tabs on the home page).

Thanks for your input jay.
The homepage is different from the rest due to the unique composition / different background. The navigation is placed a little differently because of the different width. The designer really liked the composition that way, and the scroll was deemed a minor caveat.

Quality site. Excellent graphics. Some nice sites in the portfolio too. I think this is the kind of thing that your target audience will be looking for. I get the impression of that the company is comprised with three hard working and innovative thinkers.

Pretty good site.
  • It's good to see everything work without Javascript.
  • On the portfolio page, maybe consider a legend? I realize you can just mouseover the little icons to see what they are, but a legend would eliminate that uncertainty. I also clicked on the buttons, wondering what they meant - I initially thought that if I clicked on the icons, I'd be taken to a new page outlining, for example, the process you went through for designing the UI.
  • The "View our work" sign only activates when the mouse is over the top half of the sign. I realize this is because it's behind the footer grass, so I don't know how you're going to fix that, but it would be better if there was a larger clickable area for the sign.
  • Good choice of link colour.
  • Your "Method" page is the first page that uses "Feedback" to refer to the "Customer Development" phase. You might consider changing "Feedback" to "Customer Development", to fit in with the wording you're using everywhere else.
  • The line-height in your lists for the job postings is a little small - the lines seem cramped.
  • The green rounded rectangles on your homepage (.infobox) and portfolio (.project) page don't really stand out. It's perfectly fine if you wanted to create a subtle effect, but I think it's too subtle.
  • The favicon doesn't match your site. The site's transition between blue sky and green ground is sudden - not a gradient. The gradient in the favicon looks a little like the designer just wanted to try out a cool gradient. I know that's not actually what happened, but that's what it reminds me of. I'd suggest trying to mimic the grass effect, with a few blades sticking up into blue sky.
  • I didn't notice this at first (or second, or third), but now that I have, it's really unnerving that two of the guys on the homepage don't have feet.
All in all, very well done. I really had to get picky to find anything non-perfect.

Good points pickle, I'll pass them along to the guys. The favicon was especially tough, your suggestion might work though, we'll give it a shot
Thanks jaoude :)

Nicely layed out, althought there a few small problems that really catch the eye....

The Navigation Links are very choppy on the edges and dont seem to fit into everything else being so smooth ( it makes me not want to scroll down any further to see what else is there )

The rollover position link for the footer View Our Work Sign is not very intuitive and needs to be positioned much better. I can select the sign 7 pixels above it but on the bottom all the way to halfway up to the text on the actual sign it doesn't register I'm there, this is another bothersome hit.

There are quite a few poorly saved out images that are choppy one the edges that need to be fixed.

Overall its a very nice design, well laid out and flows nicely, but those few small mistakes take it from a top notch portfolio to a mid-grade needs some improvement portfolio.

Noticed that icons on this page are messed up on FF3.5, I think they were ok some time ago, to be honest I'm not sure if they were there or not :?
I must agree, nicely done :) . Only thing what I don't like is red link color on green background, reminds me internet 10 years ago

It works fine on FF3.10, didn't test it on the beta. Maybe clearing the cache would help? we made some adjustments today in response to feedback from here

I didn't spot that, but I am in agreement.

Checked it out again navigation looks much better, the sign is still an issue but not a eye catcher and something most people most likely wont notice.

Overall Great Job 8)

Yeah, we're aware of the sign and we'll move it infront of the footer with a slighly different graphics to make it blend better. Thanks again to everyone for their input :)
