hacking and phishing attacks

Discussions of secure PHP coding. Security in software is important, so don't be afraid to ask. And when answering: be anal. Nitpick. No security vulnerability is too small.

Phishing attacks usually take place on an entirely different domain. There's not much you can do about it.

No scanners are practical to detect a site getting cracked. Intrusion Detection Systems can give you a hint about suspicious activity and block crackers, but they have plenty of false positives.

For just simple reasons... just look at the URL... at the address bar.. If you think that the website is facebook.com and the URL must be only facebook.com not facebook.*something*.*something*
