phpMyAdmin to prompt for user password and user name

Okay, now I refresh the page, and I got this:
The page cannot be found
The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

Please try the following:
If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly.
Open the mydomain.com home page, and then look for links to the information you want.
Click the Back button to try another link.
Click Search to look for information on the Internet.

try hitting http://www.yourdomain.com/yourvd/index.php
I tried this: http://www.mydomain.com/phpDBAdmin/index.php and I got the same error, "The page cannot be found". It's like the index.php is not there but infact it is because I just checked the directory and it's there.
exchanging too much of nothing on the forum we are.
suggest we continue this on IM I do.

sorry, I don't have IM install on my worstation.
However, the problem seems to be coming from the VD. LIke I said, if I access directly through the phyiscal path, http://www.mydomain.com/phpMyAdmin/ then it works.

Here's the strange thing, according to http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodte ... 483dd.mspx, the icon for VD should be a gear icon but in my case, the icon is a globe on top of the folder. It doesn't look like the picture showing in this link.
