I ought to file a bug report for that, really. Sysop/bureacrat functions don't require re-authentication for remember me based logins. However, MediaWiki's login code is really messy to begin with, so I think Brion Vibber or Tim Starling will get to it when they get to it. (and when they do, they'll rewrite the whole thing).

Oh, by the way, did you get my request for an account on that wiki?
