imho you need high quality content at first. I know website with 100-150uniques/ daily with revenue ~30-50USD daily.

it depends on who's really interested in what you sell and how willing they are to buy from you, if your in a competitive field people will tend to buy from more known companies so getting hits alone will not help revenue wise..

What are you getting per click?
Obviously, a large percentage of the people will never click on ads, from my experience is close to 95% (normally). From the limited information you've given, its impossible to suggest anything since it is purely based on your audience demographics, your website traffic, website content, and ad placement. If you arn't addressing all of those points correctly then you are destined to fail (unless your a black hatter).
More than likely if you are getting the neccesary traffic (100-200 clicks a day from experience is nowhere close enough) then the next thing I would check is the ad placement. You could get all the traffic in the world, but if your ads arn't noticed by your users, or do not interest your users, then your doomed from the get-go. There is tons of information on google of research done on user behavior, specifically with ads, i.e., where the eyes generally move on screen. An example is placing your ads near the sites navigation. Another is to make your ad look like your sites navigation. It is important to understand that users will generally avoid looking at anything distracting, because their brain has trained them over time it is a useless ad and to ignore it.
Content is fundamentally the most important things because without it there is no reason for the user to be interested. I.e., if you have a page with nothing but ads you will probably get very few clicks. However, a very informative website that has targeted ads based on the content, which actually shows relevant information the user might want to look into furthur, you will not only get more clicks but more click through sales as well.
There is a lot more to it than that, and I obviously can't touch on everything, but one last thing I like to throw in there is tracking your ads. I won't get into specifics about my company, but we have come a very long way in increasing profit and reducing costs but tracking exactly where we are getting views, clicks, and sales, and which ads are a waste of money. It sounds like this is very obviously, but alot of companies I've seen in the past simply think it's enough to just throw them up there and trust the ad agency(ies). We wen't from about every dollar spent, we would get about $3 back. With very fine grained marketing and traffic analysis, we now get about $10 for every dollar spent.
Although I don't suggest anyone use black hat SEO techniques, there is alot to be learned from them too.

One other thing you'll probably want to consider is the subject matter of your content. Research which keywords have the highest competition in your niche and then write with those in mind. If you're not seeing the type of ads you want (ie, ads with your targeted keywords directly in them), rework your title first, then your headings, then your content.
