I have a freelance opportunity. The website is going to be simple. Nothing server side. No more than 20 pages of html with a custom design. Set up some email accounts probably 5 and locate a host for the client. What would you charge someone for doing a job like this? What's the high end and what's the low end?
Thanks

That's what I had in mind too. Somewhere in that range. But you know how it works. They want a bid for the whole job. Not an hourly sort of thing. So I'm trying to figure out what it might be. I can only guess at the total time. I guess this post was not so much to find out what I'm worth as much as it is to find out what others have made at a job like this... So if you want brag away...

Each project is generally different and unique in some way.
Therefor, wages generally fluctuate depending on
1) The total hours involved (usually estimated and project is given a total price before hand as you mentioned)
2) The dificulty of the project involved
3) Degree of testing involved once project has finished, including upgrading time.

don't forget to add a good size buffer in there for client "change-of-mind syndrome" ...
