I have been working in a company designing their website for about 3 years. I now want to go Solo and get a bit of vairation in some of the work I do.
I am looking for insurance for liability in case someone hacks my code and uses customer details for evil purposes. Basically I do not want to get sued millions if I leave a small security hole.
I have looked at insurance but none so far cover any damage done by hackers which is my main worry.
I know that ideally all my code will be completely hacker proof but I want to be extra safe!
Anyone got any suggetions. P.S needs to be a UK company.
Thanks in advance
Save me from the hackers!

It is better to have true sense of insecurity than false sense of security...php3ch0 wrote:I know that ideally all my code will be completely hacker proof

Lloyd's of London, Chubb, and AIG offer hacker insurance underwriting to various companies. Start with them, and find the providers they suggest.php3ch0 wrote:I am looking for insurance for liability in case someone hacks my code and uses customer details for evil purposes.
