Ok, I have my page redone.
It's a functional, CSS driven, decent looking page that is geared toward my target audience.... I think.
Anywho, now the age old question that I have been struggling with for a while:
How do I get traffic?

The forums states 'no advertising'...
So I didn't want to mention it if I could help it.
But:

I'm not an expert at marketing online, but I can tell you that you will need to get some content on there first. Make sure that the content is readable by search engines, then submit your site to google, dmoz.org, yahoo, places like that. That is about all I can tell you.

Stop. Stop now. Do not go looking for traffic yet.
Your site is not finished. You have pretty much no content at all. You still have pages that are under construction. Anyone visiting your website today would be lost never to return. That would be a wasted visitor.
You need to get your site finished, you need to work on content, you need to get your mates working on content. Noone is going to visit your site if there's nothing to see.

Then I guess I'll need to go to a few local concerts...

I take it... this is the unanswerable question?

build relationships with similar websites or directories, exchange banners, if you're website is about concerts, go to some and distribute flyers, approach a concert-magazine (or whatever is suitable) and offer them a free promotion on your website for a campaign they would like to do... you get the picture.
Just having a website search-engine optimised doesn't promise you anything. What you ideally want are regular visitors - and you have to reach out to them.
