Edit: F**k...just realised what forum I posted this in...my bad...probalby more suitable for Enterprise...my bad sorry

I've used this: http://www.interactivetools.com/about/p ... ement.html

Changed almost all content (used all the same bullets, but added a claus for payments and removed those which don't apply) but left the very generic bullets intact, such as:

Warranty, Liability, Disclaimer, etc

The only things I changed in there are "Vendor" with "MyCompany"

Considering I've used just the generic statements:
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES AND UNDER NO LEGAL THEORY, TORT, CONTRACT, OR OTHERWISE, SHALL VENDOR BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY OTHER PERSON FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY CHARACTER INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR WORK STOPPAGE, COMPUTER FAILURE OR LOSS OF REVENUES, PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE OR ECONOMIC LOSSES. IN NO EVENT WILL VENDOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF THE AMOUNT PAID TO DEVELOP THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF YOU OR ANY OTHER PARTY SHALL HAVE INFORMED VENDOR OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY CLAIM. NO CLAIM, REGARDLESS OF FORM, MAY BE MADE OR ACTION BROUGHT BY YOU MORE THAN ONE YEAR AFTER THE BASIS FOR THE CLAIM BECOMES KNOWN TO THE PARTY ASSERTING IT.
And customized most others, some quite a bit...

Is it fare to say I can use this above as a template???

Custom written licenses should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer or solicitor. Terminology can be highly specific to any individual nation's law especially when the license turns to specific statements of fact. I know this might not be all that likely depending on your project's financing, but if you can I would find a non-custom license that's already been reviewed by legal folk and is free to use.
