Disclaimer Advice

Post by phppage »

Would any one know of good tutorial or advice on writing a website disclaimer. Have plenty of ideas but would hate to miss something out. Must be the hardest word to search on, if you type disclaimer in Google just comes up with about every site

What kind of disclaimer do you need? If you can find examples of ones that match what you need, you can take those to a lawyer to have them adjusted for your circumstances in many cases.

Do you think a lawyer is always necessary?

If it involves legal stuff, a lawyer (several, if you can afford it) is a good call.

I spoke to a solicitor today and advised me to purchase his templates from his website. Not too sure about filling them in and how applicable they are :? . Has anybody had any experience of using such templates. Has any body been challenged about the services their website offers and found their terms and conditions saved them?

Was thinking of using templates from Compact Law http://www.compactlaw.co.uk/ecommerce_pack.html Has anyone tried these by chance. Was interested in using these templates as you get support with them encase you need to make modifications.
