Hi all,

I have been working on GetAFreelancer but [s]wanna[/s] want to extend my service to other freelancing website like elance. So just [s]wanna[/s] want to ask [s]any1[/s] anyone here has been working on this website? Are the big projects on website real?
The reason I ask these questions is on GetAFreelancer, all buyers want cheap price and never care about the quality. So I just wanna know how elance's buyers are.

Or you guys have any other freelancing website that has good-paying projects?

Thanks all for viewing.

AOL Speak, leet speak and other abbreviated wording can confuse those that are trying to help you (or those that you are trying to help). Please keep in mind that there are many people from many countries that use our forums to read, post and learn. They do not always speak English as well as some of us, nor do they know these aberrant abbreviations. Therefore, use as few abbreviations as possible, especially when using such simple words.

Some examples of what not to do are ne1, any1 (anyone); u (you); ur (your or you're); 2 (to too); prolly (probably); afaik (as far as I know); etc.

Unless working for free is your ideal lifestyle I would recommend staying away from the website bidding area's. It's nearly impossible to make a profit on any of those jobs unless the buyer is looking for quality work and chooses your bid for your background.

I personally found it a lot easier to pursue local jobs. People are a lot more willing to pay well if they can talk to you. This is very important when working with clients that have a hard time using computers. Those are the ones that want to talk to someone in person and say "I want this picture here". Not I want picture dc2.jpg in table 3 on page id 12 of the products area.
