I'm trying to use the PHP GD library to convert a bunch of strings to images and then display them.

I'm getting the following error when I try to reference an external class:

The image “http://my.wiscnet.net/mashups/numtoimg.php” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

Here's my code:

Code: Select all

<?php
    require_once('/public/mashups/transport.class.php');
    // Create a 100*30 image
    $im = imagecreate(100, 30);

    // White background and blue text
    $bg = imagecolorallocate($im, 255, 255, 255);
    $textcolor = imagecolorallocate($im, 0, 0, 255);

    // Write the string at the top left
    imagestring($im, 5, 0, 0, 'Hello world!', $textcolor);

    // Output the image
    header('Content-type: image/png');
    imagepng($im);
    imagedestroy($im);
?>

Do you have any whitespace after your closing ?> tag? Are you outputing any headers before your Content-Type header?

no whitespace after closing tag... this script should not have any headers being previously declared as it is a standalone script

It is including transport.class.php though - is there any whitespace there?
