Morning,
Does anyone have a status update for the upcoming 4.1.0 release? Things seem to have gone quiet and I'm wondering if Swift Mailer 4.1.0 is planned for release still. A rough timescale would be appreciated.

SwiftMailer is now managed as part of the Symfony project (or by the same people at least). Check the dev site or Symfony for the latest info.

Ok, so I'm correct in believing that 4.0.6 is the latest stable, and there is no planned date for 4.1 or 4.0.x?

Chris,
I've been looking around for activity and I'm really not seeing any which is quite worrying really. There are things that need addressing, which I'm sure the developers are aware of - for example STARTTLS support. There is a patch in Lighthouse for it, which works just fine but yet there is no activity or even a hit that there will ever be another release again.
Even looking at Symfony, there doesn't seem to be anything going on regarding SwiftMailer. Is this project dead?

Alex, I guess you have to ask Fabien as he's now a project lead.
And, if you have a patch, fork swift on github, apply the patch and send a pull request.
