Getting Failures with PHP's internal mail() function

Post by @byte »

Hi,

i am using Swift Mailer for a newsletterscript.
The admin can select between php-mail smtp and sendmail.

When i send the newsletter with the php mail() funktion to a subscriber with a invalid email, i get a error message "Unknown user".
Shouldn't Swift Mailer put that adress in failedRecipients?

My question now, is it possible to get the failures wenn i use the php mail() funktion without stopping the script?

Also, is there some kind of feedback like amount receivers send from Swift Mailer i can use for a pregressbar?

My subscribers can select, if they want a html or text email. Is it possible to send different mails during send or batchSend?
