Yeah it looks cool. It is similar to GreaseMonkey though.

I think GreaseMonkey was intended to allow you to add your own JavaScript to websites...where as Jetpack allows you to create your own extensions in general. The demonstrations obviously made the extension seem like it was similar to GreaseMonkey though it's intended to ease development of extensions by getting potential extension developers out of current web designers and web developers so I think the approach of how to get people to use it was executed nicely. :)
