Actually it turned out well, in an almost crazy way.

I ranted at this guy about what he did. I even made him aware of our willingness to hunt him down with help of police force. GO AHEAD! he answered.

I went mad just like I can do around here  , and then later on feel ashamed and come to regret and apologize.

Then he calmed down aswell and it came to my knowledge that he (the bad guy) grew up about a mile from where I work 8O. We shared some common things and then we agreed that he could spam me but not my fathers mailing list. I don't know of any more spam occurances on the list and noone complains to daddy. So I guess it worked. But I recieve a completely wacko mail now and then, smile at it and trash it.

Being nice helped this time. 8)

They dont care what the subject really is, but the only reason they do the "asd98df" is to get past your spam filters.

But nobody would *ever* open one of those, except maybe your first one. Garbled text reduces the changes that you'll be hit by a spam filter, yes, but it reduces the chances that I'll accidentally open it to zero. Zero, as in, if they sent infinite emails, wasting countless time and money, they would get absolutely *no* return. That's what I don't get.
